ROBIN COHEN
Robin Cohen has over 30 years’ experience in economic regulation and in the economic analysis of markets, government policies and corporate strategies across more than 20 different countries. He is currently a Panel Member of the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority. He was previously a Vice President of Charles River Associates and, for over 10 years, he was partner-in-charge of Deloitte’s Economic Consulting practice.
He has advised corporates on regulatory accounting, strategy and transactions. He has also advised many regulators on price setting, evaluating operating efficiencies, market design and competition issues. He has provided assistance to the UK Government on numerous issues including cost-benefit analyses of policy initiatives, State aid and other competition assessments. He has acted as adviser on regulatory and competition investigations with a particular focus on the energy sector and frequently provides expert opinions for submission to regulatory authorities. He has been appointed expert in commercial and investor-state disputes, including under ICSID and UNCITRAL as well as before the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
